How to Choose Boots for Your Own Body Shape

Image
Excuse me, are you thinking about what are the best shapes of boots and heels for your body shape? Your should consider what kind of body shape you are first. Stiletto heels with their long slim spindly shape are best for slimmer body shapes and those with slim calves and ankles.  Stacked heels are better for those with the feminine curvy hip and thigh and curvier calves and ankles. Wedge heels can be finer (look at the profile from the back) and suit slimmer shapes, or wider, and suit curvier shapes.   Cone heels can work on many shapes as they have some sturdiness. Completely flat shoes work best on those with average to longer legs.

The easiest way to do it? Snag a pair of hidden wedge shoes, which—unlike sky-high heel—provide a few extra inches discreetly, making you look as if you’re wearing flats. Great!  Below, we will show some of our lovely hidden heel boots for girls like you.

How to Care Leather Boots after Worn in Snow Days

Image
It is known to all that leather boots can keep your feet warm in winter days, but the material's natural porousness means they absorb moisture from snow and sleet. Although you can treat leather with water-resistant spray, you still should keep your leather boots as dry as possible. Too much moisture from exposure to snow can ruin the leather on your boots by discoloring the areas that got wet -- and salt can stain them, too. You can breathe new life into leather boots and make them wearable again by evening out the color to reduce the appearance of damage from snow.   Set your wet, snow-damaged leather boots on a towel, away from direct heat sources. Stuff the insides with newspaper to absorb moisture and hold the shape as the boots dry. Allow the leather to air-dry completely.   Wipe the boots with a clean cloth to remove moisture from the surface. Crumple newspaper and fill the boots again to prepare them for drying. All...
